A Damn Fine Candle is an exclusive scent created in collaboration with our friends at Rootless Coffee Co., a rad group of folks who roast delicious coffee in Flint, Michigan, and then team up with comic & multimedia artists to design their bags. Our candle has top notes of roasted coffee beans with hints of cream and sugar, poured into an 8oz jar with labels designed by artist Craig Horky.

Burn Time
Burn times are averages. Depending on how you burn your candle, you may get more or less.
- 11oz (x-large): approximately 80 hours
- 7oz (large): approximately 60 hours
- 3oz (small): approximately 25 hours
A note on burn times:
If you start a candle and let it burn – you will get less burn time. If you burn in shorter sessions, you will get far more out of the candle. Soy wax burns faster at higher temperatures. Always allow your candle to form a full melt pool – let the wax melt to the sides of the glass container. This helps prevent tunneling of your candle.
Ingredients
– soy wax grown in the USA
– cotton-braided wick around a hemp core (no lead or zinc)
– our fragrances are all phthalate-free and vegan-friendly fragrance oils
— we work closely with our suppliers to ensure all of our fragrance oils are safe
– some of our candles contain essential oils
— we do not currently carry any candles that are 100% essential oils (for fragrance)
– we use the same fragrance blends for our incense
Are your candles considered organic or all-natural?
Soy wax undergoes a chemical hydrogenation process that prevents it from being labeled as organic or all-natural.

I haven’t tried this one yet but I love the unlit scent. I am sure it will be amazing and I will update this review when I give it a try. Uncle Al’s and Shoe Shop are both wonderful and still being used. Can’t praise them enough and I have tried many of Bare Candles varieties. Flint seems to have a great collection of masculine fragrances where Bare is more feminine. Both are very high quality. As a man I will explore more of Flint’s as theirs has recently suited me so well.
Got this for my Twin Peaks-obsessed daughter, and she loves it! It almost like drinking a damn fine cup of coffee at the RR Diner! Now, Norma, could you bring me a piece of cherry pie to go with it?
This candle makes the house smell like a coffee shop!
