Hever Castle is our homage to the award-winning gardens at the gorgeous old Hever Castle in the Kentish countryside. A walk through the well-manicured rose gardens on the castle grounds leads into tidy rows of fresh herbs. A tunnel of wisteria blooms gives way to a large hedge maze.

Our interpretation features a blend bursting with notes of the English rose, heady wisteria, lily of the valley, and pink peony petals, with hints of thyme, toadstools, and green ivy leaves. A final base of white musk and vanilla round out this intensely fresh, enchanting floral.

Burn Time

Burn times are averages. Depending on how you burn your candle, you may get more or less.

  • 11oz (x-large): approximately 80 hours
  • 7oz (large): approximately 60 hours
  • 3oz (small): approximately 25 hours

A note on burn times:
If you start a candle and let it burn – you will get less burn time. If you burn in shorter sessions, you will get far more out of the candle. Soy wax burns faster at higher temperatures. Always allow your candle to form a full melt pool – let the wax melt to the sides of the glass container. This helps prevent tunneling of your candle.

Ingredients

– soy wax grown in the USA
– cotton-braided wick around a hemp core (no lead or zinc)
– our fragrances are all phthalate-free and vegan-friendly fragrance oils
— we work closely with our suppliers to ensure all of our fragrance oils are safe
– some of our candles contain essential oils
— we do not currently carry any candles that are 100% essential oils (for fragrance)
– we use the same fragrance blends for our incense

Are your candles considered organic or all-natural?
Soy wax undergoes a chemical hydrogenation process that prevents it from being labeled as organic or all-natural.

    I don’t much like florals because they’re almost always too rose-heavy but not Hever Castle! This is lovely and smells like a fresh bouquet held aloft in a spring garden.
