Deep, woodsy, and lightly herbal notes combine to create this gothic cologne. The star of this blend is Absinthe, the famed green-colored, anise-flavored botanical spirit. Anise, fennel, and notes of oakmoss & musk meet a mysterious blend of warm amber, deep oak, and rich cherry wood.
Describing this scent is difficult, but something about it draws me into the sense of maturity and thoughtfulness. It’s not like those in your face Yankee or Bath and Body candles. There’s a honest uniqueness to the scent that puts me in place of autumn.
I always let my dog sniff a candle (unlit!) before I burn it to make sure she’s okay with it. She actually licked this one. Two paws up!
My favorite scent!
Smells great! If anything, I was hoping for more of a pronounced licorice scent but I still enjoy it.
